UQ Backup is used by a single person, its developer, to back up that person's own files to their own Google Drive. It requests only the Google Drive scope that lets it see and manage files it created itself.
Files are encrypted on the user's computer before upload. Google receives only encrypted data. The app has no server, no database and no analytics, and no data is sent to anyone other than the user's own Google Drive.
No data is shared, sold or transferred to any third party. Use of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The user can delete the backup files in Google Drive or revoke the app's access in their Google Account at any time.
